Commercial transparency

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound actions may generate revenue for Top10. This page explains what that means, what it does not mean, and how commercial destinations are kept separate from editorial conclusions.

How commercial links work

When an approved affiliate relationship is active, Top10 may receive compensation if a reader follows a marked link and completes an eligible action. These arrangements do not change the price you pay as a result of using the Top10 link, although the provider controls its own prices, eligibility, and offer terms.

A button may otherwise use a reviewed direct official link. Outbound destinations are held in a central registry so they can be audited, disabled, or replaced without editing every article and without exposing private partner URLs in browser code or page data.

What compensation cannot buy

Compensation does not buy a particular rank, rating, review conclusion, or publication decision. A provider without an affiliate programme may still be included when it is relevant to the comparison. A provider with a programme may be excluded when it does not fit the guide or the evidence is insufficient.

The commercial state of a link is not a quality signal. Readers should evaluate the stated criteria and verify current provider terms rather than interpreting button placement as an endorsement.

Offers and changing terms

Prices, trials, bonuses, and promotions can change or vary by location. We publish a specific offer only when there is suitable current evidence and visible qualifying context. The destination's current terms take precedence at the time of an action.

If an outbound destination is unavailable or fails validation, the site should fail closed rather than silently redirecting to an unrelated page.
