Proxy Reliability Passport
A proxy is not promoted because a port merely answered. Candidates move through bounded connectivity, encrypted request, destination compatibility and real-byte checks. Repeated outcomes produce an explainable confidence score; insufficient evidence stays labelled as such.
Invalid, private, loopback, reserved and non-responsive endpoints are discarded before expensive work.
New and recently successful routes receive priority. Repeated failures back off to 30 minutes, 2 hours and 6 hours.
Verified, checking, unstable, offline and unverified are distinct. The full database never pretends every collected address is live.
Only public free endpoints are eligible. Private operational routes, credentials and source locations are excluded.
Using public free proxies responsibly
Why can a verified proxy stop working?
Public endpoints change rapidly, can reach connection limits, or may be withdrawn. Always use the freshness and confidence fields.
Why is the full database larger than the live list?
The full view preserves free candidates and their check state. Only recently proven endpoints appear in the recommended list and exports.
Can I run arbitrary checks through this service?
No. Verification uses fixed controlled targets and bounded requests. The site does not provide an open relay or arbitrary URL checker.
