Private Video Volume Changer

Apply an explicit gain to a short browser-decodable video's audio and export WebM without uploading the source clip.

Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.

Files and capture streams stay on this device. Processing uses browser APIs only; nothing is uploaded to YTSave, the media API or a proxy.

Why this tool is useful

Reduce an overpowering soundtrack, mute a clip or apply a bounded boost with a precise percentage instead of an unexplained loudness slider.

How it works

Web Audio decodes the original track, applies the chosen linear gain and feeds it into the same local MediaRecorder timeline as the video frames.

Practical example

Set a short screen recording to 50%, verify the reported 0.5× gain and download the newly encoded WebM from the current tab.

Validation

The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.

Privacy boundary

Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.

Result passport

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
