How it works
After bounded parsing, the browser compares each normalized feature's exact geometry type with the selected value and serializes only matches in their original order.
Practical example
Choose Point to extract one location feature from a collection that also contains a LineString, Polygon and GeometryCollection, leaving all nonmatching features out.
Validation
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
