Why this tool is useful
Use this capability check before choosing HDR or Display P3 assets, especially when the same monitor behaves differently across browsers, operating systems or remote sessions.
Report the HDR, wide-color, contrast and pixel-depth capabilities this browser session exposes without pretending to certify the physical monitor.
Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.
Use this capability check before choosing HDR or Display P3 assets, especially when the same monitor behaves differently across browsers, operating systems or remote sessions.
The page evaluates standardized CSS media queries and feature support, then combines those answers with browser-exposed color and pixel depth. It never uploads a screenshot or infers hidden panel specifications.
Run the checker in the browser used for playback. A high dynamic-range query may match while Display P3 does not, showing that the current browser pipeline should not be treated as fully wide-gamut.
The test reports only browser-observable events and measurements; it does not invent hidden hardware health, temperature or manufacturer specifications.
Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.
Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
