Why this tool is useful
Use this converter when specifications, downloads or measurements are given in kilolux, but your worksheet or destination requires lux. It avoids manual factor mistakes.

Convert kilolux (klx) to lux (lx) with a transparent illuminance formula.
Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.
Use this converter when specifications, downloads or measurements are given in kilolux, but your worksheet or destination requires lux. It avoids manual factor mistakes.
The browser converts klx to the shared illuminance base unit using scale 1000 and offset 0, then converts that base value to lx using scale 1 and offset 0.
For example, entering 1 klx returns 1000 lx. Results include the formula and enough precision for a quick verification.
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.
Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
