Why this tool is useful
Use this converter when specifications, downloads or measurements are given in kilowatts, but your worksheet or destination requires British thermal units per hour. It avoids manual factor mistakes.

Convert kilowatts (kW) to British thermal units per hour (BTU/h) with a transparent power formula.
Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.
Use this converter when specifications, downloads or measurements are given in kilowatts, but your worksheet or destination requires British thermal units per hour. It avoids manual factor mistakes.
The browser converts kW to the shared power base unit using scale 1000 and offset 0, then converts that base value to BTU/h using scale 0.293071 and offset 0.
For example, entering 1 kW returns 3412.141633 BTU/h. Results include the formula and enough precision for a quick verification.
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.
Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
