Private Video Peak Normalizer

Measure a short video's decoded PCM peak and normalize its audio to a selected dBFS target locally before exporting WebM.

Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.

Files and capture streams stay on this device. Processing uses browser APIs only; nothing is uploaded to YTSave, the media API or a proxy.

Why this tool is useful

Bring a quiet or hot short clip to a declared sample-peak target while keeping the measured starting peak and applied gain auditable.

How it works

The browser scans decoded channel samples, calculates the linear gain for the selected dBFS peak and re-records the bounded clip with that gain.

Practical example

Normalize a voice clip to โˆ’1 dBFS, compare its measured peak and applied gain in the report, then download the local WebM result.

Validation

The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.

Privacy boundary

Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.

Result passport

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
