The browser scans decoded channel samples, calculates the linear gain for the selected dBFS peak and re-records the bounded clip with that gain.
Normalize a voice clip to โ1 dBFS, compare its measured peak and applied gain in the report, then download the local WebM result.
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
