Stereo Speaker Channel Tester

Play a short locally generated tone through the left, center or right channel to check channel order and audible output.

Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.

Why this tool is useful

Use this test after reconnecting speakers or headphones to confirm that left and right channels are not swapped and both sides produce sound.

How it works

Web Audio generates a brief low-volume sine tone in this tab and applies the chosen stereo pan. The page downloads no sample and never accesses the microphone.

Practical example

Choose Left, run the tone, then repeat with Right. The sound should move to the matching side; Center should be equally audible from both stereo channels.

Validation

The test reports only browser-observable events and measurements; it does not invent hidden hardware health, temperature or manufacturer specifications.

Privacy boundary

Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.

Result passport

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
