Why this tool is useful
Use this scanner to review domains, usernames, labels and copied identifiers for characters that can look familiar while belonging to a different script.
Flag mixed writing systems, bidirectional controls and common Cyrillic-to-Latin lookalikes without silently rewriting the original text.
Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.
Use this scanner to review domains, usernames, labels and copied identifiers for characters that can look familiar while belonging to a different script.
The browser inventories Unicode script ranges, invisible direction controls and a conservative map of common visual confusables. It reports positions and code points but never claims perfect spoof detection.
In ytsаve, the letter а is Cyrillic U+0430 rather than Latin U+0061; the report identifies its index and mixed-script context.
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.
Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
