Private Video Fade-Out Maker

Fade a browser-decodable clip out to black and export WebM without uploading the source video.

Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.

Files and capture streams stay on this device. Processing uses browser APIs only; nothing is uploaded to YTSave, the media API or a proxy.

Why this tool is useful

Give a short recording a clean visual ending while its original frames remain on the current device.

How it works

Canvas opacity decreases during the final selected interval and MediaRecorder captures the composited frames as WebM.

Practical example

Fade the last 1.5 seconds of a browser-playable clip to black and download the newly encoded local file.

Validation

The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.

Privacy boundary

Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.

Result passport

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
