Private Video Splitter

Split a short browser-decodable video at an exact timestamp and download both WebM clips in one ZIP without uploading it.

Ready. Your working data stays in this browser.

Files and capture streams stay on this device. Processing uses browser APIs only; nothing is uploaded to YTSave, the media API or a proxy.

Why this tool is useful

Separate an introduction, scene or review segment while keeping both resulting parts and their timing manifest together.

How it works

The browser validates the split point, records the ranges before and after it as real WebM clips, then packages both files and a manifest in ZIP.

Practical example

Split a five-second clip at 1.75 seconds, verify both reported ranges and download the two-part archive.

Validation

The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.

Privacy boundary

Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.

Result passport

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
