How it works
The browser validates bounded ZIP entries, resolves the first local worksheet, reads shared and inline strings, and shows cached formula values; formulas are not evaluated and external relationships are never requested.
Practical example
Choose an XLSX report to preview its first 100 rows and 50 columns, verify headings and cached values, then close the tab without creating a server copy.
Validation
The calculation is deterministic and explains validation errors instead of silently changing invalid input.
Privacy boundary
Input and output remain in this tab. Copy and download happen through browser APIs without a server upload.
