Use Cologne Phonetic when German pronunciation rules and names containing Ä, Ö, Ü or ß make an English Soundex key inappropriate.
The browser uppercases with German-aware substitutions, maps letters by their neighbouring context, collapses consecutive codes and removes zeroes except when zero begins the key.

Every run reports its tool mode, timestamp and input/output size so transformed data can be audited.
